These rows run the current quilt engine with 12-inch finished blocks, four colours, 44-inch fabric, a quarter-inch seam allowance, and 15 percent top-fabric overage. Binding, backing, and batting are on; sashing and borders are off. The patchwork yardage tool uses the same assumptions and shows the per-colour quantities.

Cushion Calculator Examples
These values reproduce the current calculator with 54-inch fabric, its default seam and zipper allowances, and no pattern repeat. The model counts running lengths conservatively and does not nest different panel types into unused space. Piping is reported as cord length, not extra bias-strip fabric.
